Stress often affects your job, your relationships, and every other facet of your life. This workshop will help you to identify what stress is, how it can be positive, but how you can better manage the negative aspects of stress, and its effect on your life and body. We will review the typical responses to stress and you will discover the power you possess to control and manage your stress. We will also discuss strategies to channel stress into positive energy. Communication tools, the power of humor, “self talk,” visualization, and relaxation techniques will also be examined.

About the Speaker

  • John M. Troutman

    National Marketing & Business Development Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP Services

    John Troutman is the National Director of Business Development & Marketing at Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP Services, a subsidy of Pyramid Healthcare. In addition to business development, he is a keynote speaker, corporate consultant, and a personal work/life coach to a number of clients. He has been with Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP for over 6 years.

    Prior to joining the Mazzitti & Sullivan EAP team John has 20 years of experience in public speaking, marketing and brand awareness working with companies like OnFire Network, Royal Buna Coffee, Inspirational Films, and Sotheby’s International Realty. He has spoken to groups ranging from five to five thousand and has addressed leadership teams in locales ranging from Millersville to Moscow.

    He is a survivor of burnout and brings the lessons personally learned to help corporate leaders improve their mental health awareness, develop methods to enhance corporate climate, and implement strategies that will boost their employee’s wellbeing and the company’s bottom line.
