    Milliman USA - Principal & Consulting Actuary

    Ron Cornwell is a principal of the firm and the practice leader in the health and welfare employee benefits practice of Milliman’s Omaha office. Ron started the practice and is responsible for the overall management of the practice, including new business development, staffing, delivery of services, and corporate interaction. He joined the firm in this capacity in 2000.

    Ron has over 15 years of experience in group benefits working both as a consulting actuary at large international consulting firms as well as a product development actuary at a national health insurance company. His experience includes numerous Fortune 500 and publicly traded clients. He has experience as the lead actuary and project manager for HMO rate renewals, union negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and cafeteria plan design and implementation.

  • Mike Rosenbaum, J.D.

    Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP - Partner

    Michael D. Rosenbaum is a partner who has been with Drinker Biddle & Reath since 1987. Michael assists clients with a full range of employee benefit and executive/physician compensation matters, including providing advice on tax-qualified retirement plans, executive compensation plans, health and welfare plans and related compliance and operational issues. Michael also works with retirement plan sponsors and their internal investment/administrative committees to understand and implement “best practices” with respect to fiduciary/governance oversight.

    He has been published in numerous journals and frequently speaks to national organizations and conferences on healthcare reform, employee benefits and executive/physician compensation issues.

  • Dawn E. Sellstrom

    Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP - Counsel

    Dawn E. Sellstrom is counsel in the firm’s Chicago office and a member of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group. Dawn practices in all areas of employee benefits law with a focus on health and welfare plans. Dawn advises clients regarding health and welfare plan and qualified retirement plan design, administration, technical compliance and fiduciary issues.

    Dawn works extensively with clients to analyze the Health Care Reform law, develop strategy, and design plan terms and documentation related to compliance with all aspects of the law impacting group health plans. Dawn has designed and performed comprehensive compliance reviews for health and welfare benefit plans. Dawn also advises clients on and designs consumer driven health arrangements, including high deductible health plans, health savings accounts, health reimbursement accounts, and wellness programs.
